Creative Kids Preschool and Daycare has been in business for 24 years and serves the Yuba/Sutter area out of three locations in Yuba City, the Lincoln Road site, South Walton Avenue site, and the Marcia Site. Our mission is to enhance the total development of each child in ways that will respect and promote a healthy self-concept. Our Lincoln Site and Walton Site allow access to high quality early childhood education and our Marcia Site provides care and transportation for our School Age Program in the Yuba/Sutter region. Ms. Michelle Lightle is the Executive Director and owner. Between our three sites, our leadership team collectively brings over 65 years of experience and practice in the early childhood education field. The Creative Kids leadership team is hands-on and collaborates diligently with staff to support and keep the highest quality of early childhood education and care possible. Creative Kids has a total of 32 employees and all teachers are trained with the philosophy that teaching and understanding children on an individual basis is imperative. All teachers must take part in continuing education to promote innovative and current teaching practices in the childcare field. This methodology allows the Creative Kids early childhood education program to remain in compliance with state kindergarten readiness requirements and remain progressive the field of early childhood education.
